Ruach Student Ministries is the high school ministry at Calvary Church. We believe the next generation has the power to be world-changers in the kingdom of God, and Ruach is a place for this generation to be loved, empowered, and sent out. Our prayer is that students can find refuge in the true Ruach, the breath of God and be a light in their communities in a time where our world needs it most.

Meet Our Youth Pastor!
Pastor Austin Blackwell
Pastor Austin, a.k.a "Opie", has been a part of the Calvary family for almost all of his life. He has served in many student leadership roles from kids all the way to high school, serving as Ruach pastor since 2017. In 2023, Pastor Austin was selected onto the South Carolina Church of God State Youth Board, and he also serves on the Amplify Steering Committee and the Winterfest Committee. Opie loves worship and building relationships with students and is passionate about serving our youth at Calvary and in the community.
